MOVs will play in QuickTime player, Windows Media Player 12, and the VLC player (among others). These MOV files are short videos with transparent backgrounds and were designed to be elements used by someone editing videos for their church's VBS. For instance, you can drag and drop the dragon animation file overtop your video footage. Any Adobe, Apple, or other big name video editing software will be able to use these files. Converting these to MP4s will cause the loss of the transparent background.
